Suzuki Motorcycle India rolls out 50th lakh product – The Economic Times

NEW DELHI: Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd (SMIPL) on Monday mentioned it has rolled out its 50th lakh car from its manufacturing facility at Kherki Dhaula, Gurugram.

A unit of the not too long ago launched BS-VI compliant Suzuki GIXXER SF 250 grew to become the car to succeed in the milestone, SMIPL mentioned in an announcement.

“This yr, Suzuki Motor Corporation celebrates 100-year anniversary. We are thrilled so as to add one other feather to our success story in India by rolling out the 5 millionth Suzuki two-wheeler product.

This milestone is a sworn statement to the immense love and belief reposed by our prospects on Suzuki merchandise,” SMIPL Managing Director Koichiro Hirao mentioned.

The milestone comes shut on the heels of the corporate registering 5.7 per cent development in 2019-20 over 2018-19. The firm sells a variety of scooters and motorycles in India, together with its bestselling 125cc scooter – Suzuki Access 125; bike GIXXER 250 and 150 sequence, Intruder and Burgman Street, amongst others.
